"Bye, mommy."

The monkey man is well on his way to Colorado.

Each time he makes this trip without me, I think he realizes more and more that I won't be there for awhile (which, FYI, breaks my heart).

But he looooves his grandma and grandpa, and I know he has so much fun with them.

Tonight on the phone he told me, "Mommy! Tonight we are going to a hotel and then tomorrow we are going to Colorado!"

Lol.

He's so sweet.

I miss him already.

Here he was, right before they drove off.

I may or may not have cried as I watched them go.

Oh, and by the way, definitely do NOT watch "There's Something Wrong With Aunt Diane" after having sent your child off for a road trip.

I was an absolute WRECK after I watched that documentary.
