Giveaway.

Do you absolutely love this necklace?

No?

Well, sit tight, there are still other options.

I got this necklace for myself when I was on a bit of an inner adventure to seek out those things that truly matter to me and mean something more than the obvious.

For me, my important meaning lies in air. Oxygen. Breath. Something I can't always get a lot of. I've always wanted the Gaelic tree that symbolizes 'oxygen' drawn onto my back. Whether I will be brave enough to ever do it, remains to be seen.

Until then, I shall wear the necklace.

And I want you to wear it, too!

I am giving this necklace away to one fabulous reader of my blahg.

All you have to do is:

1. Leave a comment in the comments section with your name; and

2. Tell me why you think this necklace is the bomb dot com.

Winner will be selected at random, by the way.

I get almost 100 hits to my blahg every single day, and I love that people continue to come back for more, even when I'm boring or neglecting my words. I just wanted to show my readers some love and appreciation. So, thank you.

And, if you think this is the ugliest necklace to ever grace the Earth, then you can tell me that, too. Instead, I can send you a $25 Visa gift card so you can buy any darn thing you want.

Winner will be chosen this Friday morning, October 1.

I think this necklace is appropriate during Halloween but not any other time. It kind of creeps me out.

Katie has hit the big time!!! A giveaway!!
I think this necklace is awesomely weird and totally original. I love it!!! I can picture myself wearing it, thinking I look totally cool and then Steve looking at me and saying, "What are you wearing? Are those sticks around your neck?" He is so totally not "with it"!!

You crack me up every time you deign to grace us with your postings;)
I absolutely love this necklace (though I am not saying that just to get it...but I would consider that an added bonus...)!
I think it is the perfect accessory for your fight with Wegener's because when you see human lungs...they look JUST LIKE TREES. It is the most incredible thing. I love it. And I love you.

I have been a long time reader as our children are almost exactly the same age and I wish I had 1% of the talent for photography that you do. My name is Kristen and I would not wear the necklace (or any other) because I don't want my kiddo to get in trouble for trying to grab it :-). But it is lovely!

I like that its different... the different branches could symbolize paths and adventures in life that we all take daily... just like tree branches, they continue to grow like we do :)

Love you Katie... Jennie xoxo

I actually think this is a really cool hippie necklace and would wear it if I had nice blonde white girl hair.

I have been following your blahg blahg since the beginning simply because my grandson is the same age as Thad and my daughter was part of the "sheknows" born in Sept. I think you're an amazing woman with all that you've been through. Your talent for photography is simply amazing and I love your work. Pity we live an ocean apart so wouldn't even ask to be considered for the necklace. Although I probably wouldn't wear it..it would be a reminder of you and your strength when I come across obstacles of my own..

love ya Katie:)

Pretty cool that people who don't "know you, know you" follow your blog as regularly as those of us who have had the pleasure to spend time with you, your brilliant and handsom son, and mildly amusing husband :).

I would totally wear this necklace, because it would make me feel way cooler than I actually am.

Unfortunately I can't really wear jewelry because it irritates my skin (yes, any type of metal, not just cheap base metal ten-cent kiddy adjustable rings), but if I could, I'd totally be wearing this one! It reminds me of both branches and antlers.
